CURRENT EXHIBITIONS - New for 2009–2010

The Esplanade Arts and Heritage Centre is very pleased to present 18 inspiring new Alberta Foundation for the Arts Travelling Exhibitions for our 2009-2010 season.

Our exhibitions are adaptable to smaller exhibition venues such as schools, libraries, small museums and other community facilities. Exhibitions and packaging are designed for ease of handling. Venues typically vary, so exhibitions may be displayed in different ways depending the type and amount of space available. When making selections from the Catalogue please note the number of artworks and display requirements to find the best fit your venue.

Our Program continues to offer affordable exhibition experiences. Exhibition fees are $60.00 per booking, while all shipping and insurance costs are covered by the Program. Exhibition interpretation, educational and promotional materials are provided. We also offer artist/ venue visits and other program activities with selected exhibitions. In the near future we plan to offer video-conferences as a means of providing interaction between our audiences and exhibiting artists.

THE PROGRAM
The Esplanade Art Gallery produces and circulates AFATEP exhibitions of contemporary and historic Alberta art.

Since 1995, themed exhibitions in all media have reached over 100,000 annually in small public venues such as schools and libraries in over 35 communities across southeastern Alberta.

With funding from Alberta lotteries, the Program is a dynamic partnership between Alberta artists, art institutions, exhibition producers, public venues and their audiences.
