Join us on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, for a free public screening of ‘Alarm in Alberta’, a documentary based on the Medicine Hat Fire and Emergency Services team filmed at various locations and incidents around the city. The second episode of the eight-part series currently airing on DMAX(Discovery Network in Germany), featuring the infamous Royal fire has been selected for the public event. In 2022, the Royal fire, was a significant event that the fire and emergency services team had to quickly respond to. The documentary provides a behind-the-scenes look at the team’s response to this crisis and more!
We encourage residents who will be attending the event to bring a non-perishable food item or donation for the ‘Root Cellar and Wellness Hub’ and join us in our initiative to “Fill the Fire Truck” which will be stationed outside the Esplanade during the event.
