Country music star and 2x 2021 CCMA Award nominee Aaron Goodvin has released his brand new EP, Lucky Stars, and is celebrating his second No. 1 hit as the lead single, “Boy Like Me,” topped the Canadian country charts in late 2021. The follow-up single and title track, “Lucky Stars,” was released to Canadian country radio in November. On the EP Lucky Stars, Goodvin teams up again with Grammy-nominated producer Matt McClure, with whom he worked on his 2019 JUNO Award nominated album, entitled V. The Alberta-born, Nashville-based artist brings an esteemed lineup of collaborators to the project, creating dazzling music ranging from the ridiculously catchy to the wildly cinematic. Goodvin was nominated for two 2021 CCMA Award – in the Interactive Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year categories – bringing his career total to nine nominations.

His dossier includes two critically acclaimed albums, two number one singles, several top 10s, a 2018 CCMA Songwriter of the Year Award, a 2020 JUNO Award nomination for Country Album of the Year, and a tour with Rascal Flatts. Lucky Stars is the first of a planned pair of EPs teeing up major touring intended to bring Goodvin’s uniquely accessible music to every corner of the planet.

Joining Aaron Goodvin on the Medicine Hat stop of his tour is Hailey Benedict.

Recognized as a five-time North America Country Music Association International Youth winner, including Most Promising Female Entertainer & Songwriter, Hailey Benedict continues to make her mark as a rising talent in the Canadian music industry. This dynamic, guitar-wielding singer-songwriter started the year as the first artist to simultaneously secure the iHeart Radio Future Star and Stingray Trending track features, which catapulted her single, "Wanted You To", to hit #25 on the Mediabase country charts. The song was the highest-charting independent CANCON single of 2021. In 2019, Hailey was also named the Edmonton Music Awards Rising Star and Alberta Country Music Awards Horizon Youth Artist of the Year.
