Join us for an intimate Beading Circle with Brenda Mercer in celebration of National Indigenous History Month.  This free, hands-on evening is an opportunity to learn the art of beading in a welcoming, supportive environment. All supplies are provided—just bring your curiosity and open heart. Whether you're brand new to beading or simply looking to connect, this gathering offers a chance to explore traditional craft, community, and the spirit of reconciliACTION through creativity.

Brenda Mercer has been beading for over 50 years, ever since she was first taught the daisy stitch at age eight by her non-Indigenous cousin. Her passion for beading has grown into a lifelong practice of generosity and storytelling. Brenda often carries handmade earrings in her purse, ready to give as gifts to strangers and friends alike. “I made these for you with all my love and good intentions,” she tells them. “I’ve had people come up to me a year later saying they wear them with pride and still feel the love.

This is a free event, but seats are limited, so be sure to get your ticket at TIXX before they are gone!  If you are unable to attend the event, please return your ticket so others may enjoy this event.
