Family Fun Activities | 4:30-8:30PM

Join us for tons of hands-on fun with the whole family.

Explore our galleries through immersive scavenger hunts with your Frozen pals Princess Anna and Olaf! No registration required, first come, first serve. Limited spots available. Can’t make one of the scavenger hunts? No problem! Anna and Olaf will be in our lobby from 7:30-8:30 for a meet and greet opportunity.

Get creative in the lobby and make an ornament and help us decorate our Christmas tree as you enjoy complimentary hot chocolate.

Then make your way up to the second floor where its lights out in the Discovery Centre as littles enjoy glowing, ice sculpture sensory play! They will be sure to be inspired after they check out the LIVE ice carving on the front lawn with Frozen on First!

East Coast Christmas Party at the Duggan House | 7 - 9:30PM

For one night only the warm glow and charming atmosphere of one of Medicine Hat’s most beloved historic houses comes to life with the musical styling of local musician and Newfoundland transplant, Rob Cook.

Experience a taste of the East Coast Christmas party tradition over holiday treats.  The foot stomping, lively music and glittering decorations will be sure to raise your holiday spirits!

Make sure this is on your list of Midnight Madness stops. You won’t get another invitation like this anytime soon! So get in out of the cold, enjoy the festivities, take a peak around and chat with our knowledgeable volunteers about one of Medicine Hat’s historic gems!

Frozen on First | 4:30 - 9:30 PM

Join beloved local artist Marina Cole (Chainsaw Spirit) and Calgary based ice sculptor Andrew Zoller on the front lawn as they carve holiday magic from over 2000 pounds of ice. Not to be missed, this show stopping live demonstration will be taking place from 4:30 pm until 9:30 pm. Be sure to make warm holiday memories with friends and family by enjoying a hot chocolate together as you watch these sculptures come to life, then capture the magic of the moment with a photo.

Drop by from 7:30 to 8:30 pm and you may spy Glass Slipper’s favourite frozen pals Anna and Olaf!
